Behind the project
Who I am, in two sentences
Jay ("The Ermite") — 23 years of design, 21 years of entrepreneurship, 15 years of coaching. In November 2025, I had never written a single line of code. Six months later, the Shinkofa ecosystem exists and runs. Not a product, not a startup: a stubborn research effort to make a human-respecting digital actually possible.

Is my donation tax-deductible?+
No. The project is not yet carried by a public-interest structure. Donations go through my company (The Ermite GMS) or the listed platforms (PayPal, Ko-fi, Liberapay). You can request a payment receipt, but not a tax-deduction receipt.
How do I know where the money really goes?+
The "Transparency" section above shows the breakdown by main categories. If you want monthly detail or a specific update, write to me — I answer. The project is intentionally small and readable; there is no organizational opacity to hide behind.
How do I stop a recurring donation?+
In two clicks, from the dashboard of the platform you chose (PayPal, Ko-fi or Liberapay). No special procedure to go through me, no friction. Respect for your autonomy comes before retention.
What if I can neither donate nor share?+
Are you using the platforms? You're already part of the collective. The project exists to serve, not to collect. The simple fact that you're here reading these lines already matters.
